I. TUITION PACKAGES
There’s a wide range of tuition packages and payment options to suit different ones:

Scheduling Priority
Every year, students typically vie for the same after-school hours in a teacher’s schedule. Due to limited spots in the schedule, it’s advisable to enrol earlier rather than later so that you get first dibs. Understandably, places for students are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis based on fees fully paid – with priority to students enrolled in the schedule for a longer period. Please enquire about available spots BEFORE making payment.
EARLY BIRD DEADLINES
Early Birds rock! These are students who make full payment for music tuition fees as per the respective Early Bird deadlines published below. The student will be awarded a rebate on their next invoice for tuition fees for the period immediately following, if renewing for that period.
Rebates* range from $10 for the 30-minute one-on-one, one-term package to $90 for the 60-minute, one-on-one, four-term package (as per table below). As such, much savings can be made over the student’s musical journey with us through the years as every payment for tuition fees by the early bird deadline will earn a new rebate that will be applied to the next invoice.
There is no limit to the number of times that rebates are earned as it is on-going – except for the final invoice for tuition fees as, obviously, the rebate cannot be applied to the next invoice if there is none (that is, when the student is no longer renewing his/her enrolment for the next period).

Ad Hoc Lessons (any level)
Sometimes, ad hoc lessons suit the student’s busy lifestyle better. In such cases, we are happy to arrange one-hour lessons on an ad hoc (per session) basis. Regular rate per hour: $89.90 (to be paid at least 7 days before the lesson).
Invoices
Invoices are typically sent to all students at the end of each period paid for. If you would like to be billed earlier so that you can make payment before the Early Bird deadline for each period above, please request for an early invoice by emailing contactus@passionmusic.co.nz at least two weeks before the respective Early Bird deadlines so we have time to attend to the request.
II. ENROLMENT FEE
There’s a one-time Enrolment Fee of $69.90 per student per course. Enrolment fees are not transferable from one student to another.
- Discounts. There may be discounts on this during peak enrolment periods, so be sure to check Home for any. Students are rewarded for early enrolment as it is preferred over late ones. Administrative matters – like booking a spot in the schedule, assigning an appropriate tutor, preparing the learning material, and other behind-the-scenes matters – all take time. Early enrolment allows more time to do a better job for you in getting things organised as you begin your musical journey at Passion Music.
- Waiver/Discount. There is a waiver if the same student enrols for additional courses at the same time. If enrolling at a later time, the one-time Enrolment Fee for additional courses is only $39.90 per course.
- Family Members. Immediate family members (father, mother, daughter, son, sister and/or brother – not cousins, in-laws and others) of a current (not former) student also get to enjoy this rate of $39.90 per student per course.
Exclusions
Learning Material. The cost of books and other learning material is not included in the fees. You will usually be advised the amount before the first day of class. This is typically between $20 and $40 per course enrolled for. Should there be any other costs as things progress, you will be advised when the time comes. If a particular book is not in stock, it will need to be paid for upon order. Learning material will be passed to students only when – not before – it has been paid for.
* Conditions. To qualify, tuition fees must be fully paid by the respective Early Bird deadlines for each period as published above. The rebate cannot be exchanged for cash. It can only be applied to the next invoice for tuition fees for the period immediately following, so if not renewing, the rebate will be foregone (for example, when the student completes his/her musical journey with us). The rebates are subject to the Terms and Conditions on this website.
